Surprisingly, I'm not impressed with what I've tried so far - Blackberry Crumble, Orange Tart, Strawberry Custard, and Cornflake Tart. Although it's probably just my own personal preferences that aren't agreeing with the flavors. The Rice Pudding is okay, but still haven't tried the Apple Pie. It has that distinctive sour apple candy smell to it, which I am definitely not a fan of. Not the flavor profile I would expect for apple pie.

i had to google cornflake tarts. for some reason thats not a thing here. looks tasty, but rich as hell.

finally charged up all those batteries i got yesterday and started using them. i replaced a bunch of 25rs and vtc4s with vtc5as. not only are they better cells in general, but mine were getting to the end of their life cycles, and were not hitting as hard as they used to. the gap between old tech vs new tech, added to the gap in general performance due to age, makes these new ones feel like they are super charged. comparing my old 26650s to my new ones is also a pretty dramatic difference. those are some of my newer batteries, and they didnt see a lot of action compared to my 18650s, but the new ones are night and day different. super impressed with everything and glad i reset my whole battery collection.

Got some mini clothespins to replace using sliders for certain types of parallel core coils.

So I was checking out a post on the Post Your Builds Thread by @mach1ne and admiring a pair of polished aliens and a stapled helix. I complemented him on the builds and he said he was sending them to a friend. I agreed with @CrazyChef that this friend was a lucky guy. Never in a million years did I imagine he was gonna send them to ME! THANK YOU SO MUCH MACH1NE! These coils are the most beautiful coils I've ever laid eyes on in person. You can see them in the post your builds thread or you can check out the photo's I took of them below. I don't know if I have the heart to vape them. They are so beautiful!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU! hahaawww thats awesome :D im glad you were surprised man. i left the 'work end' on that stapled helix so you could inspect it and see first hand how i make a ribbon stack and compare any differences in our techniques. hope you enjoy man :D definitely vape them and dont let them just sit there (they are rowdy and need some action). hopefully you have an atty that can take a huge single coil...

thanks @CrazyChef for helping facilitate this :D

Oh I definitely have an atty that will take that stapled helix. Looking at it, its similar in size to the Alien Framed Staples I've posted a trillion times. It's gonna go into the 24 mm trickster I have with the Kennedy Roundhouse. The Trickster has some big post holes. I would say that the way we make our ribbon stacks are almost exactly the same, except for the fact that I don't use hot glue, although using hot glue might be a good idea. I tend to use a paper clip to hold the stack together while I'm either claptoning or alien claptoning, at least until I'm halfway down the stack. I'll be honest I can't wait to try those polished aliens. I've heard good things about polishing wire as far as the flavor effects. I've heard it gives the wire the properties of a flatter surface, kinda like ribbon wire for some of those crisps notes in the juice. I haven't vaped off stainless steel wire in a while but hey it's gonna be a party got nothing against stainless steel. They look so beautiful part of me just wants to keep them forever (the polished aliens) I mean they are so perfect. It's one thing to see a photo on the web and it's impressive but to actually hold them in your hand and look at them in person is a trip. You can just tell so much "love" went into making those coils. I reckon the Staple Helix will vape great you know how I love my ribbon wire:D. I wish there was some way I could get you back so to speak, but your such a damn good builder, I don't think there is anything I could do that you wouldn't be able to also do and do better! Maybe I'll figure something out...

Chef I forgot to thank you for making the coil transfer happen. It would have never been a surprise without you. Thanks so much!

just try it once and see how it feels. imo it was a game changer for staple stacking, and allowed me to start hitting much more complex builds. the stack is so hard you barely need a paperclip or any sliders. i mainly just use them out of habit at this point with those builds, and im not sure i need them most of the time on builds that only have one 'pass' of wraps/one stack of wire to wrap.
sorry they are ka1, i know you prefer n80 but i have been out of that for a long time and i bulk order my wire, so i am just trying to run out of what i have left before i do another big order. hopefully they are a good vape for you. i like that build on a parallel box (i have a pair of those same coils in a goon lp).
lol there is lots of love in those <3
dont worry about it man :D i had been wanting to send you some coils for a while, and i wanted to send a gift of some kind to chef as well. i got a chance to send him something he was actually looking for, and it occurred to me that i could get you in the crossfire and keep it a surprise :D you have no idea how much fun it was setting this up with chef, watching the various packages make their way to their targets and finally seeing your post. im pretty sure chef had as much fun as i did :D

Got a new mod in - the VGOD Pro 150. Also some new swivels to try. I'm hoping they're better (obviously) than the one I've been using at the end of the chain.

Here's a pic of the new swivel next to the older style. I'm thinking it'll be more centered to balance the chain a little better.

some highly anticipated vape mail today. the mod came via regular post, i set it up and went out for the evening. i guess a parcel service dropped off the clamps later and my roomie just left them on the table. just got home around 10pm and found them. im freaking out now trying to think of a build to make for the mod with the clamps :D
